I first heard about the Ann Arbor Fairy Doors on NPR last week. When I was a child, I used to imagine shrinking down to only three inches tall and discovering a hidden world inside my own home. I suppose that is an apt metaphor for childhood. It lasted until I finally saw The Incredible Shrinking Man.
